Texas First Rentals is seeking a Shop Service Technician 1 to join their team. This position is based in Texas.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of rental equipment
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines

- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a service technician role
- Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and industry standards
Qualifications
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic computer literacy

Pay
The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
