About the role
Shop Service Technicians 1 are responsible for maintaining and repairing Caterpillar equipment.
Essential Functions
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on Caterpillar equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment running smoothly
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience in a service technician role
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
