Shop Mechanic

About the role

Join a dynamic team at McGeorge Contracting where you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment. We are seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machinery and equipment as needed
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a shop mechanic role
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
