Shop Mechanic

About the role

This job requires a DOT physical and a current DOT medical card. Brink Constructors, Inc. Work Will Consist Of Repairing, Maintaining and Servicing all equipment. (i.e., Bucket trucks, Line truck (Diggers), Cranes, Wire Pulling equipment, Dozers, Loaders, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Tracked Equipment, Trailers, Pick-up trucks, etc.) Work with hazardous tools, i.e., Welders , Torches, Grinders. Work around moving equipment and in constricted spaces. Possessing and supplying own mechanic hand tools. ( diagnostic scanners company supplied along with some specialty tools ) Electronically filling out workorders, ordering parts, keeping time and completing daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervision and support from Shop Foreman, perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, maintenance and services on all company and rental equipment.
• Diagnose the source of trouble and determine the extent of necessary repairs.
• Keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper care for tools and equipment, while following all safety and PPE protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid, Active Driver's License Required
• Possess own mechanic hand tools.
• Your knowledge and experience to help grow our team

Preferred

• Knowledge or Electrical Overhead Powerline Construction Equipment
• Previous experience with Construction Equipment repair, Yellow Iron, Tracked Equipment Tractor Trailer Chassis and engine experience
• Aerial unit experience, Bucket Trucks, Diggers, Cranes
• Valid, Active CDL A – Preferred
