Shop Mechanic

About the role

A-Core Concrete Specialists is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join their team as a Shop Mechanic. This role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of various equipment, addressing day-to-day breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, and requested changes to hydraulic and electric saws, drills, power units, generators, and more.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair various equipment
• Maintain a clean area for safety and efficiency
• Comply with OSHA and shop safety guidelines
• Complete work orders timely with accuracy and detail
• Research and order parts, maintaining an inventory to complete work promptly
• Input data into our maintenance and tracking system (ManagerPlus)
• Complete service record paperwork
• Update systems for maintenance reminders
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must pass a drug screen (required)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Good driving record (MVR)
• Must have own tools or the ability to acquire tools
• Ability to complete data entry on PC/Tablet
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized and mechanically minded
• Self-motivated and punctual
