Shop Maintenance Technician

About the role

Posimech is an AS9100/ISO9001 Certified High-Mix/Low-Volume Precision Machine Shop with over 45 years of continuous operation. We are a top-performing supplier supporting major military aircraft platforms, ground-support systems, Boeing, Airbus, and emerging SpaceX-related programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the shop tidy and safe: clean floors, restrooms, common areas, patios, entrances, and walkways; restock supplies; empty trash and recycling.
• Maintain equipment and machinery: perform routine maintenance on shop equipment and CNC machines; wipe down and sanitize surfaces.
• Help with repairs and projects: assist with small building repairs, painting touch-ups, and basic plumbing/electrical tasks under supervision.
• Manage waste and yard areas: maintain dumpster and scrap metal zones; keep loading and storage areas organized.
• Team support: work with the shop staff and management to keep workflow efficient; help during busy times and events.
• Operate equipment as needed: forklift operation when required.

Requirements

• Clean, valid driver’s license.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift and move parts and materials.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical is helpful.

Compensation

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
