Responsibilities

As a Yard/Shop Operations team member, your role will be essential in maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our yard and shop. Your responsibilities will include:

• Organizing and keeping the yard clean
• Performing routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
• Managing the inventory of tools and materials
• Loading and unloading materials
• Handling traffic control items
• Ensuring all documentation related to materials and equipment is accurate and up to date
• Operating company trucks to transport materials to and from job sites
• Performing basic equipment repairs as needed

Requirements

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. The candidate must maintain a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record. The role involves:

• Lifting at least 50 pounds
• Tasks such as reaching overhead, bending, kneeling, and twisting
• Sitting, standing, and driving for extended periods
• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends
• Willingness to travel to other branches as needed
• Working outside in extreme weather conditions
• Forklift certification
