Shop Custodian

The Shop Custodian performs a variety of duties and multiple uses of different skill sets. Duties include receiving and carrying out directions from designated Supervisors and Production Leads, understanding and complying with Safety Practices, identifying and obtaining necessary equipment, tools, and materials, performing hazardous material disposal activities, maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly, FOD-free condition, organizing tools to 5S standards, managing broom stations, rag disposal, floor, trash cans, pallet, cord organization, and managing full dumpsters. The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines, and maintain good attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and at a fast pace, climb stairs while carrying a vacuum and supplies, and have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must have 3 months to 1 year experience in related field.
• Must be able to follow detailed verbal and written directions, meet deadlines, and operate as a team member.
• Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).

Shift Availability

• Day Shift - no differential - Hours: 5:00a - 3:30p, Monday-Thursday
• Weekend Shift - $3.00/hour shift differential - Hours: 5:00a - 5:30p, Friday-Sunday
• Swing Shift - $2.00/hour shift differential - Hours: 3:30p - 2:00a, Monday-Thursday
