Custodian - Store Support Center

Position Summary

The Custodian will work with the Janitorial Staff to ensure a clean, safe and welcoming Office. This will include fulfilling light maintenance requests, Light PM work on the HVAC system, and supporting the janitors and serving as a backup in the event of call outs.

Responsibilities

• Light building maintenance including but not limited to; painting, wall hangings, running wires, moving equipment, etc.…
• Light HVAC maintenance including filter replacements
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Assist with setting up and teardown of meeting spaces and events.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Auxiliary outdoor maintenance, such as snow removal or landscaping, as needed.
• Serve as the team lead for the cleaning staff and will fill in as a backup in the event of call outs or other staffing issues.
• Event assistance (training room set up, event set up and breakdown, assist security with parking lot coordination)
• Cold/Inclement weather assistance (spreading salt, clearing/shoveling walkways)
• Aid with cubical, office moves, and office equipment repair (setup & breakdown of cubical equipment/office desk repairs)
• Other assigned duties as designated by department manager or supervisor in a timely fashion

Working Relationships

Working Relationships: Entire Store Support Center (SSC) as they work throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Education: Trade School
• Minimum Experience: 1-2 Years Maintenance Experience
• Preferred Experience: 3-4 Years Maintenance Experience
• Licenses/Certifications: N/A
