Shop Crane Technician

This position is located at the Houston, Texas branch and reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)
• Perform preventative maintenance (oil changes) and light equipment repair (brake jobs)
• Conduct light troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform job functions in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Follow established safety and health procedures and rules
• Participate in safety and health training
• Report safety and health issues or unsafe acts to management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician (vocational training may be considered in lieu of experience)
• Ability to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Mechanical background with experience in electrical and hydraulics
• Self-starter with initiative to advance
• Clean background and safe work habits
• Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills
• Basic set of hand tools required

Schedule

Full-time position with typical working hours between 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business conditions.

• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
