Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee production work on customer equipment, ensuring that:
- Production workers are focused and productive at their assigned duties
- All work meets appropriate quality requirements
- Safety procedures and policies are followed
- Hours and costs are recorded accurately
- Accurate, timely, and sufficiently detailed information is communicated to management to support decision-making, including labor and resource allocation among current projects and estimates for future project bids
- Cook up work and resources with fellow supervisors and other production team leaders so that the production operation can operate efficiently and profitably
- Interact effectively with the customer’s representatives while meeting their schedule and daily requirements
- Ensure that the correct materials are ordered and delivered on a timely basis
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of five years’ production experience and a minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Required to have a valid driver’s license and TWIC
- Required to learn safety rules and become familiar with proper usage of safety equipment
- Required to comply with all Safety and Pollution Prevention Regulations and Procedures at all times under the direction of Stevens Towing Company, Inc.’s safety policies
