Shipping Technician
About the role
This role currently follows a Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts schedule. Day position and night position available. Night shift is Mon - Fri 7pm to 3:30 am.
Responsibilities
- Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment
- Counts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications
- Compares items packed with customer's order and other identifying data
- Loads, unloads, and moves materials within on work site
- Loads materials onto vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
- Loads and unloads board or other materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Cleans work area, machines, and equipment
- Operates forklift in loading trucks or moving materials and products
Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma/GED
- Forklift experience
- Mandatory: Manufacturing facility experience
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role – including lifting 50 lbs, standing for long periods of time, and completing repetitive tasks
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem solve and identify safety hazards

Pay
Pay starts at $20.15 per hour and will increase upon completion of certifications within the 6-month probationary period.
