Shipping Supervisor 3pm - 11pm

About the role

Responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate handling of all shipping activities within the company. Ensures compliance with all shipping regulations and maintains high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping operations including loading, unloading, and sorting of packages.
• Ensure all shipments are accurately labeled and tracked using appropriate software systems.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage inventory levels and maintain stock control procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding shipping status and provide prompt responses.
• Perform audits of shipping processes to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within a logistics or shipping environment.
• Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with shipping software such as ShipStation or similar systems.
• Knowledge of carrier rates and services.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
