Shipping Specialist I

About the role

As a Shipping Specialist, you will retrieve Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and other accessories identified in Sales Orders and/or Parts lists, verify the amount and type, then safely load them for shipment. You will scan EGMs into the Warehouse Management System and sort completed EGMs into the proper shipping consolidation lanes. A flexible schedule is required during busy Quarter End periods.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items for shipment.
• Verify the items in each order and package them for shipment.
• Update inventory in the Warehouse Management System.
• Take ownership of your area of responsibility for the people and products being shipped.
• Focus on company, team, and individual growth and development.
• Maintain a quality mindset to ensure all shipment requirements are complete every time.
• Verify the availability of required components to complete orders.
• Interact across business units including warehouse, production control, facilities, manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (relevant work experience will also be considered in lieu of formal education).
• Basic reading and math skills to verify the accuracy of each shipment.
