Shipping Specialist I

Ardon Health is seeking a Shipping Specialist to join our award-winning specialty pharmacy team. We are a dynamic workplace in Portland, Oregon, committed to providing compassionate care and fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all ship stations are well stocked with packing and shipping supplies.
• Packages for shipment with designated packing materials in accordance with established standards to preserve medication integrity.
• Accurately prepares and affixes correct shipping labels to each package.
• Adds any additional drug inserts or patient packets needed per clinical team.
• Processes and tracks vendor packages daily.
• Supports warehouse staff in ordering, stocking and rotating supplies needed for packing and shipping or any other warehouse duties needed.
• Cleans pharmacy equipment weekly.
• Replenishes get packs, coolers, and other shipping supplies into appropriate storage area(s).
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Conducts daily pharmacy temperatures monitoring.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Education and experience
• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Experience with warehouse operations.

Skills

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work in a pharmacy environment with extensive keyboard and computer work, and frequent moving of packaging and items.
• Occasional overtime may be required.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay range: $20.88-$26.10 hourly, depending on experience. Actual pay is based on qualifications.
