Shipping & Receiving Tech

About the role

The Shipper/Receiver performs all work in the warehouse pertaining to shipping & receiving, loading and unloading to meet in accordance with operating/performance measures. They also perform additional duties assigned as required/tasked.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for various tasks such as packaging orders, verifying content for shipping as well as receiving packages
• Provide excellent customer service during shipping and pickup of products
• Assemble orders accurately according to the sales order
• Load/Unload outbound and inbound shipments
• Receive items for resale (beads, chalk, stencil, cones, spray cans, etc)
• Operate all machinery in a safe manner
• Place all correct SDS and other customer documentation in outbound shipments
• Ensure warehouse is orderly and kept in a clean and safe manner
• Additional duties assigned by Shipping Lead or Manager, as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 plus years of Shipping/Receiving and Freight handling experience
• Forklift Certification (Training provided)
• RCRA (Training provided)
• DOT Hazmat Certification (Training provided)
