Shipping/Receiving Operator-1st Shift - Entry-US

The Shipping/Receiving Associate acts as an experienced operator within a warehouse, receiving, tracking materials, resolving issues as related to tasks, training entry level operators, inventoring stock, pulling, picking, and shipping orders.

Responsibilities

• Execute final packaging and distribution of products to appropriate destinations.
• Receive material from external operations in SAP.
• Follow instructions on delivery notes for shipments to distribution centers and customers.
• Independently packs orders for shipment.
• Receive daily products from stock transfers and outside vendors.
• Re-orders supplies such as boxes, bags, labels, and packing tubes.
• Works with planners to resolve shipping or receiving issues.
• Performs tasks with little to sometimes moderate supervision.
• Maintains / completes certifications.
• Performs transactions / resolves transaction discrepancies in the SAP / ERP system required to process material movements.
• Responsible for maintaining and ensuring workplace organization programs (5S, EHS) are adhered to for the assigned area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Previous forklift operating experience
• Self-driven initiative and adaptability to solving problems autonomously
