Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Essential Duties
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
- Communicates with logistics technicians, customer services representatives, service providers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintains a clean and tidy delivery system
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts receivables
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily inventory
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Serves as backup for Facility Coordinator in their absence
- Affords assistance with contractor coordination and support activities, including site access, and ensures compliance with facility and safety protocols
Requirements
- Education: High School Degree or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Experience: 0-2 years’ relevant experience
- Prior forklift operating experience required
- Licenses/Certifications: DOT and IATA Certifications for dangerous goods shipping
- Other: Available on an on-call basis to respond to urgent facility, operational, and logistical needs outside of regular business hours
Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
Must possess a valid Driver’s License
