Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Barnes Aerospace West Chester division is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support material flow throughout the plant.

Schedule
1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Checks, verifies, and records required information on planning, shipping, and receiving documents, including dimensional checks where appropriate.
- Communicates significant problems and/or deviations to the responsible person with corrective action for concurrence and resolution.
- Orders packaging materials.
- Ships customer gauging, tooling, and fixturing.
- Packages finished product and prepares shipping documents to support the flow in and out of the facility.
- Performs cycle counting and coordinates the annual physical inventory.
- Processes all material returns from customers and suppliers.
- Delivers and picks up parts from customers and suppliers.
- Operates a forklift.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area at all times.
- May perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing.
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with empowered decision-makers.
- Proficiency in operating a computer and tape sealer.
- Good mathematical and computer skills.
- Ability to schedule and organize time and tasks effectively.
- High integrity and ethical standards.
- Professional and effective communication with all levels of employees, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a challenging, schedule-driven environment.
- Maintains a positive, cooperative attitude and is flexible in response to rapid market changes.
