Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 2nd Shift

About the role
This position provides administrative and operational support for the shipping and receiving office within our warehouse operation. The role involves coordinating driver activity, preparing and dispatching loads, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate professionally with both internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Utilize WMS to audit parts for delivery routes
- Identify, investigate, and correct route discrepancies
- Receive and dispatch drivers in a timely manner
- Prepare, manifest, and dispatch outbound loads correctly
- Coordinate driver activity with the dock to ensure timely receiving of inbound loads
- Maintain organized filing system (electronic and paper)
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Support general office and warehouse tasks as needed
Requirements
- 2 years of general office experience required
- 1 year of customer service experience required
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required
- AS400 experience preferred
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and work at the specified location
- Must complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening

Pay
- Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM: $21.50 base pay per hour
- Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM: $21.50 base pay plus $2.00 shift differential, totaling $23.50 per hour

- Sunday–Thursday: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
