About the role

Shipping and Receiving position at our Harrisburg, PA location, supporting sales, rentals, parts, and service for construction equipment, cranes, paving, road building, and road maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive parts orders from vendors
• Pick, pack, and ship orders
• Deliver parts to customers
• Perform physical counts for inventory control with parts management
• Stock order receiving
• Use yard machine to unload palletized material, plows, hitches, etc.
• Effectively communicate and actively participate within a goal-oriented team environment
• Actively participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Work performed in a warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels; temperatures vary seasonally
• Job requires extended periods of standing and walking
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs. on a frequent basis
