About the Role
Del Amo Motorsports is a leading Powersports dealership in Southern California with 8 locations across Orange County, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, and San Diego. We are seeking a motivated individual who values quality work, customer service, and a fun, friendly work environment to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all merchandise received is promptly checked in and put in stock according to procedures.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders.
- Perform shipment and purchase order reconciliation and entry.
- Pack boxes, prepare pallets, and ready shipments for delivery.
- Facilitate shipments by inspecting product upon receipt and selecting product from warehouse shelves.
- Professionally package product to ensure safe delivery.
- Prepare final customer invoices and determine the best delivery methods for customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Process all orders through our integrated system software.
- Handle physical shipping and receiving of product for customer and warehouse orders.
- Inventory vehicle parts and input information into LightSpeed and/or computer system.
- Complete reports by entering required information.
- Meet or exceed time requirements set by management.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity by carefully checking in return goods from customers.
- Maintain proper computer processing or paperwork for all transactions.
- Keep warehouse organized, clean, clutter-free, and safe at all times.
- Understand all warehousing and distribution job functions and perform them efficiently.
- Safeguard all company property.
- Prioritize and schedule daily activities of the shipping and receiving departments.
- Meet deadlines and maintain department stock and inventory.
- Adapt department operations to the needs of the dealership and customers.
- Stay familiar and knowledgeable about motorcycle industry parts and trends.
- Abide by all dealership policies, including general housekeeping and dress code.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with managers, employees, and other departments.
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary for the success of the department and dealership.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of shipping and receiving warehouse experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs.
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects.
- Expert software skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer literacy.
- Interest and experience in the Motorsports industry.
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving.
This position reports directly to the Parts Manager.
