Shipping & Receiving

Responsibilities

• Work proficiently in a team environment.
• Deliver product from holding area to appropriate location.
• Palletize orders and prepare for shipment.
• Print pick lists at appropriate times as needed.
• Process orders and create tracking labels and waybills / BOL’s.
• Enter tracking information in appropriate locations.
• Add freight costs to pick list.
• Prepare all necessary shipping labels and documents as required.
• Determine and call appropriate freight carriers with cooperation and communication from other shipping personnel.
• Research and rectify shipping discrepancies and concerns.
• Keep track of back-order shipments.
• Affirm a safe work environment.
• Assist in training, as required.
• Afford assistance to other team members when needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Able to understand and follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Able to have reliable transportation to/from the facility.
• Able to be a team player and have the desire to learn.
• Able to perform all physical requirements of the position.
