Shipping & Receiving Associate (Driver)

About the role

This position is responsible for all warehouse functions, including receiving and checking in new shipments and transfers. The Shipping & Receiving Associate assists the Production Site Manager in ensuring the accuracy of warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities

• Check in new parts orders daily
• Inspect the quality and condition of new parts as they arrive
• Ensure received parts match the quantity ordered
• Stock warehouse shelves
• Prepare and ship outgoing parts
• Maintain warehouse standards and cleanliness with daily and weekly cleaning
• Maintain supply levels and communicate needs to the Production Manager
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Use the company’s ERP system to complete receiving and shipping tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Up to 3 years of warehouse experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift License/Certification

Work Environment

• Climate-controlled office environment and heated manufacturing/warehouse facility
• Noise level usually low to moderate
