Responsibilities
- Remove coated parts from racks only after they have successfully passed the Quality Control (QC) inspection.
- Review paper tags to ensure the color listed matches the coating applied to each part.
- Inspect racks to determine proper pallet placement, ensuring parts that belong together remain grouped while separating parts designated for different pallets.
- Label each completed pallet with the correct identification number as indicated on the accompanying paperwork.
- Ensure all parts are removed from racks before advancing materials to the next stage of production.
- Perform bagging and tagging operations by matching the correct paperwork to each part and pallet.
- Utilize the company-issued mobile device to access intake photographs and verify part identification numbers against the original intake records.
- Confirm that all parts, identification numbers, and documentation are accurate before attaching shipping paperwork.
- Wrap completed, verified, and tagged pallets to prepare them for shipment to the appropriate customer.
- Maintain organization and accuracy throughout the packaging and shipping process to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Aid in loading completed customer orders for pickup or delivery.
- Help unload incoming customer materials and prepare them for production as needed.
- Support other production and shipping activities as assigned to meet operational needs.
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving warehouses.
- Ability to safely use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods.
- Capable of wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Pass drug test and background check.
