Shipping & Receiving Administrator

Responsibilities

• Shipping:
  • Contacts and schedules shipments
  • Scans product and prints labels for all containers
  • Lables each container
  • Loads parts to shipper in PLEX
  • Loads containers on the shipping truck
  • Completes paperwork for the driver
• Receiving:
  • Receives aluminum in PLEX
  • Adds aluminum loads to electronic log
  • Ensures tubs are full
  • Verifies labels match what is in the container
  • Moves parts from audit area to correct area in finished goods
  • Rotates parts and organizes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with personnel and inventory management

Skills

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products and services
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Essential identification skills
• Proactive development of alternative options
• Knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and regulations associated with bulk pneumatic trucks
• Computer proficiency
• Strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
• Proven communication and organizational skills to coordinate, communicate, and implement company goals
• Sensitivity to confidential information
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
