Shipping/Production Support

About the role

Working with Customer Service, Operations, and the Quality Departments, this employee will perform various duties including shipping, receiving, material handling, moving product within the facility, and assisting in production operations.

Responsibilities

• Move product to its next destination within the production process as needed.
• Prepare products for shipment by packaging, scaling, labeling, and arranging truck pick-ups.
• Receive and distribute Maintenance, Repair, and Operation Supplies (MROs).
• Assist in light production operations as needed.
• Support quality assurance by measuring and sorting parts as required.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by the Department Manager.

Requirements

• Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and knowledge of Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) if required.
• Compliance with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Maintain good attendance and ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Obtain company certification for use of forklift, reach-truck, and scissor lift.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System policies, goals, and objectives.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent, along with relevant experience.
