About the Role

Prepares items for shipment using correct methods and records incoming and outgoing packages properly.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies order from ShipStation and matches up TRF with shipping labels that they print.
  • Prepares items for shipment, including assembling contents of outgoing packages in perfect condition.
  • Wraps goods and packages in an envelope or a box depending on the number of kits.
  • Receives incoming shipments, checks them in, and stores them in their proper place.
  • Packs, addresses, and ships materials.
  • Prepares waybills and related paperwork for commercial and other shipments.
  • Ships out orders using ShipStation and UPS software, mailing machine.
  • Operates computer, mailing machine, and printers.
  • Prepares kit components requested by different doctors.
  • Assembles and builds different kits, ensuring shelves are stocked for the next day.
  • Labels blood pour-off tubes, urine cups, kit boxes, UPS lab packs, and UPS envelopes.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent GED.
  • Courses in typing and business arithmetic preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to read and write clearly.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas.
  • Knowledge of different shipping methods such as ShipStation and UPS.

Physical Requirements

  • Required to sit for 50% and stand for 15% of the time.
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects of up to 40 lbs.
  • Bending and stooping about 15% of the time.
  • Required to stand, walk, and sit for periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Pay

$19–$20 hourly wage.
