About the Role
The essence of the shipping order assembler position is to prepare all finished products by kitting and packaging all parts and clearly documenting transactions to ensure shipment quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Shipping Order Assemblers will assist as needed in staging and moving products and loading trucks.

Responsibilities
- Accurately pull, package, and label all customer orders for on-time shipment and delivery.
- Kit and package projects.
- Unload trucks and locate incoming material as needed.
- Pick kits into kitting area as needed.
- Complete all necessary documentation.
- Operate the forklift truck in a manner that promotes safety and safe handling of product.
- Support company quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document all missing items for control system update.
- Assist when needed in staging or moving projects and loading trucks.
- Follow safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as required.

Requirements
- Forklift Certification required (training provided).
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb onto a flatbed deck.
- Some overtime or a flexible schedule is required to cover the seasonal workload.
- Some exposure to outdoor environments.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
Pay
The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
