Warehouse Shipper - 2nd Shift

About the role

We're seeking a Shipping Associate to join our warehouse team. The role involves organizing, consolidating, and preparing outgoing packages with accuracy and efficiency. Applicants should be comfortable working in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Verify packages belong to the proper customer and ship request order
• Verify contents of packages match proper login descriptions
• Capture weight and dimensions for consolidated parcels
• Verification of shipping addresses on packages
• Properly affix shipping labels and export documentation to shipments
• Adequately read, comprehend, and follow all customer instructions and special requests
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Adequate safety standards and compliance with all company, local, state, and federal guidelines
• Attend all Compliance Training Classes and comply with Compliance Policy and Procedure
• Exude exemplary customer service and maintain a positive attitude
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to work in an open-air warehouse
• Comfortable standing and bending for the duration of the shift
• Proficiency in computer operating systems (comfortable with typing skills)
• Able to lift 20 pounds constantly, up to 50-100 pounds occasionally with assistance
• Able to successfully complete assessments
• Utilize tape dispenser and knife opener
• Flexible with overtime during peak seasons
• Previous receiving, warehouse/supply chain experience preferred but not required

Qualifications

Pay

$19.00/hr + a weekly bonus incentive that is performance and quality based. On average, our shippers earn $200-$300 a week in bonuses.

Schedule

Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-10:30pm
Overtime will be required frequently due to business needs and may total up to 60 hours a week meaning you will frequently be required to work a 10 hour shift with a potential 2 hour variation at the start or end of your shift and you may be asked to work Saturdays.
