Shipping and Assembly Operator 2nd Shift

About the role

Hyperion Solutions is a technology-driven vertical transportation solution provider headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, with offices around the United States. Hyperion connects trusted and respected brands to create the premier integrated provider of Systems & Components, Digital Solutions, and Technical Services for the Vertical Transportation industry. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high-quality elevator components.

Responsibilities

• Loading & unloading of trucks
• Quickly and efficiently assemble product
• Use hand tools to complete assembly of assigned product
• Test assemblies to ensure quality and functionality
• Package small parcel and freight items for shipments
• Assist with inventory management
• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and work area
• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Shipping/loading freight experience preferred
• Requires exercising good judgment
• Requires attention to detail
• Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
