Shipping Loader - Canton, OH

Responsibilities

• Picks correct product for current orders.
• Remains aware of incoming trucks.
• Effectively uses inventory scan guns.
• Loads trucks with orders, checking type of product, number of cases, etc.
• Keeps coolers organized.
• Stores product correctly, per department standards.
• Ensures proper rotation is being followed.
• Obtains and maintains PIT license.
• Completes required safety forms.
• Ensures trucks are properly chalked.
• Follows standard work methods and established safety procedures.
• Follows all GMPs.
• Performs work as assigned by Shipping Supervisor or Lead.
• Displays work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
• Maintains a clean, uncluttered, safe work area.
• Maintains positive attitude and interpersonal interactions.
• Maintains consistent, regular attendance.
• Is prompt and punctual.
• Is efficient with time.
• Displays appropriate, professional, courteous work behavior.
• Checks both bulletin boards and break room monitors frequently (minimum 3 times weekly) for news and updates.
• Remains available to work in all areas of production.
• Attends all scheduled Company and departmental meetings.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, especially as to where orders are placed.
• Must be willing to get Case Farms PIT Operator Certification.
