Shipping Lead Level 1

About the role

The Shipping Lead 1 supervises shipping hourly staff at Grimmway Produce Group, located in Malaga, ARVIN, CA. The role reports to the Shipping Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipping hourly staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
• Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Work in a fast-paced environment, including overtime and weekends
• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
• Manage shipping procedures and warehouse operations

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Certification
• Computer Literate
• Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Understanding and Compliance with Company Policies and Safety Procedures
• Understanding and Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Work Overtime and Weekends
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read, and write in both languages

Pay

Starting Wage: $23.00 + 0.20 (NIGHT PREMIUM) / HOUR
