Shipping II/Backup Yard Jockey - 2nd Shift - Gratz Plant

Duties

• Read and understand orders
• Understand the scanning system for loading trucks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complies with all safety procedures and wears appropriate PPE
• Inspect work in process and finished units to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Understands loading process and responsibilities
• Provides or actively participates in continued process improvements
• Learns product identification
• Learns to secure product properly

Requirements

• Valid PA driver's license and safe driving record
• Able to lift and handle heavy products
• Good people skills when communicating with fellow team members
• Ability to stand and move frequently while performing repetitive tasks
• Collaborative, team-driven attitude
• Quality and precision-driven mindset
• Customer service mentality and strong desire to meet daily production goals
• Strong reasoning and creative problem-solving skills
• Available to work overtime and weekends if needed
