Shipping Coordinator-Raw Materials-1st shift - RDC - Youngsville, NC

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator - Raw Materials - 1st shift - RDC at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC.

The Shipping Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving orders and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing, shipping, and on-hand counts in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
• Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions.
• Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
• Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
• Assist the department in loading/unloading of trucks, scanning and tagging as needed.
• Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in logistics or warehouse environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using SAP.
• Previous experience with fork lifts.
• Basic working knowledge and experience with computers.

Skills

• Ability to follow procedures and written instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and bend frequently.

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

1st shift. Core hours are 6:30am - 3:00pm.
