Shipping Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Inputs all incoming collateral packages into the Warehouse Lending System (WLS).
- Prepares labels and folders for all original notes as well as checks notes for accuracy.
- Scans notes into WLS for attachment to individual loans in system.
- Processes ship requests through WLS to send to investor.
- Endorses notes to specific investors.
- Prepares FedEx labels for note/collateral delivery to investors daily.
- Enters FedEx tracking into WLS daily.
- Performs various filing for the department.
- Basic data entry and review.
- Aids clients with shipping questions.
- Confirms MERS.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.
- One or more years of experience in an administrative role or related field of expertise.
- General knowledge of mortgage and/or loan documents strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with the Warehouse Lending System, Street Resource Group Software, a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills.
- Able to read, input, and translate accurately.
- Strong PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products as well as custom applications and systems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
