About the role

As a Shipping Coordinator, you'll be responsible for organizing finished goods, loading outbound shipments, and ensuring materials are where they need to be to support production. You'll work closely with manufacturing teams to meet delivery commitments, maintain efficient workflows, and help keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School or equivalent education, required
- 6 months+ of manufacturing experience, preferred
- 6 months+ of shipping experience, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Teams
- Ability to perform detailed work requiring high levels of concentration in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Brought a positive attitude and team-oriented mentality
Skills
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Communication skills to interact with other Quanex locations regarding shipments, full trucks, and logistics team
- Accuracy, thoroughness, and legibility in completing documentation related to the position
- Communication skills to inform Customer Service and Sales of late or non-shipments
- Teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers

Pay
$20.50-$25.50 per hour, starting wage varies based on your experience
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Work Hours if overtime is required: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm, potential Saturday hours
