Benefits Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program, Life Insurance and Disability, a 401K with up to a 3.5% matchSafety bonus of up to $0.60 an hour paid quarterly based on branch safety goalsCareer development opportunitiesPaid vacation, sick and holidays Job Type: Full Time, Onsite Shift: Day Shift - 6:00am to 2:30pm Wage: $20.50 to $24.50, DOE Purpose of This Position: Performs tasks associated with the shipping of materials Major Duties Schedules Company trucksCoordinates in-bound carrier schedulesCommunicates truck arrival, order preparation, etc. with Warehouse personnelPrepares bill of ladingsHandles secondary dispatch of driversCommunicates schedule and order issues to Sales departmentResponsible for data entry associated with shipments including order closing, dispatch, etc. Prepares outbound material loadsCoordinates with Operations staff to optimize shipping and inter-department efficienciesAssists in training staff as neededTakes active role in various department and inter-department projects including but not limited to process improvement, etc. Minimum Qualifications/Experience High school diploma or GED required. Reliable, on time be ready to work daily. Must have an eye for detail and be able to multi-task without hesitation. Minimum of 2 years in shipping department or related applicable experience. Must be proficient with personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets, database, e-mail, and other related software.
