Shipping Clerk/Customer Service Rep

FARO Services, Inc., founded in 1988 in Columbus, Ohio, provides warehousing and transportation services and has expanded to offer third‑party logistics across Dallas, TX; Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Chicago, IL; and Columbus, OH.

Requirements

• Check in drivers and look up shipments provided by drivers, directing them to the appropriate dock doors for unloading.
• Verify BOL(s) and manifest paperwork for inbound shipments to determine if all freight was received or if there are discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages).
• Ensure proper identification and labeling of freight as it is received.
• Produce ASN files for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Answer incoming calls from drivers and give directions to the facility.
• Manage emails between customers and carriers.
• Maintain a daily on‑hand report.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and quick problem‑solver.
• Regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality are required.
• Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Pay

Starting at $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for raises and career advancement based on performance.

Schedule

Monday–Friday.
