Shipping Clerk

About the role

The Shipping Clerk at PharMerica is responsible for helping meet the needs of customers by shipping pharmaceuticals in a timely, safe, and courteous manner. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Pharmacy standard operating procedures
• Safely ship medication to customer locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner
• Ensure products are processed for shipping and delegated to the proper courier
• Adhere to all safety requirements
• Use of manual pallet jack as needed
• Receive, maintain, and order supplies
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager, DOP, or Pharmacy Manager

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a drug screen and DMV check
• Basic computer skills
• Effective verbal communication skills (on phone, one-on-one, to groups)
• Shipping experience preferred but not required
