Job Description
- Assign/pick orders
- Schedule appointments for inbound and outbound trucks
- Enter data into PMOS
- Manage/store records according to the Records Management Program
- Assist with monthly inventory
- Back-up Inventory Clerk
- Back-up other Shipping Clerk
- Enter data into and maintain shipping efficiency spreadsheet
- Track truck detention
- Daily production entry
- Enter movement sheets
- Sort BOL’s
- Schedule/arrange delivery trucks
- Receive inbound packages/supplies scan/complete in Maximo
- Prepare and verify orders for next day
- Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements
- Adhere to and enforce all safety and environmental rules and regulations
- Communicate with scheduler
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
- Related Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Equipment/Software Skills: Proficient (or ability to become proficient) use of Word/Excel and various inventory system.
- Competencies:
- Must be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Must have good problem solving skills
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be team oriented
Additional Information
- Schedule: Monday- Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm) with some weekend work and OT.
- Physical: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights
- Sensory: Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
- Mental/Reasoning: Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization
