The Distribution/Raw Receiving Associate plays a critical role in ensuring raw materials are received, documented, and delivered to the appropriate areas to support uninterrupted production. This position works closely with Production, Quality, and Distribution teams to verify inbound materials, maintain accurate inventory levels, and prepare materials and product for internal movement or outbound shipments. The associate helps drive daily production targets, supports customer order fulfillment, and upholds all safety, food safety, and quality expectations while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Key Responsibilities Retrieve product from storage areas based on customer/production orders using a scanner and forklift, high lift, scissor lift as neededCreate master pallet labels using the scannerTransport product to/from shipping/production/raw receiving using the reach liftAccount for all product on orderLoad product on correct trailer using a forklift and scannerEnsure all products are properly graded and loaded/received according to load specifications.Assist with inventoryEnsure area is cleaned and sanitaryFollows all work safety policies and guidelinesMaintain ongoing communication with Supervisors/ManagersMust cross train in other areasPerform other duties as assigned; may be required to rotate to various functions within the department Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience) Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United StatesMust pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical Essential Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups.Ability to obtain jack license for all equipment requiredAbility to effectively plan, organize and prioritize workAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, display adequate energy and stress toleranceAbility to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to train, maintain and promote a safe work environmentRead and understand HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as needed Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities High School Diploma or relatedPrevious experience with forklifts, scanners, high lifts, scissor liftsPrevious experience working in a food manufacturing environment Physical Demands Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe mannerStanding (8 hours a day or more)Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more)Reaching overhead (up to and including 25lbs)Working at heightsGripping, grasping and twisting using hands and wristsBending and stooping for short periods of timeWorking below knee levels for short periods of timeWorking above shoulder level for short periods of timeWorking at heights for short periods of timeSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus Working Conditions & Travel Requirements Work is performed in a food processing plant with a high noise level, storage coolers/facilitiesPosition includes working in areas with temperatures below freezing as well as working at heightsPosition requires working around processing plant equipmentMust be physically capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating processing equipmentThis position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environmentThe noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protectionThis position does not require travel Disclaimer We embrace equal opportunity employment.
