About the role
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for managing the receipt and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Dispatch outgoing shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all shipping documents are complete and accurate.
- Handle inquiries from customers regarding shipment status.
- Maintain records of all shipments and updates.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
- Experience with shipping software and systems.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
