Shipping and Receiving Nights

About the role

Ryder is hiring Warehouse Associates in Lancaster, PA, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Associates monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, work directly with drivers and office spreadsheet tasks, and support distribution across the US in clean, organized facilities handling retail items using RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity according to warehouse direction and vendor assignment
• Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation
• Partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
• Update required reports on a timely basis
• Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) or more years of experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Ability to multi‑task, be highly organized, with excellent time management
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
• Excellent PC skills in MS Office (intermediate level)
• SAP and WMS knowledge (intermediate level)
• Safety‑sensitive position; may require equipment operation and certification depending on location

Pay

• Base hourly rate: $20.98 per hour
• Night shift differential: +$1.00 per hour

Schedule

• Nights rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule, 5:00 pm – 5:00 am
