Shipping and Receiving Driver

About the Role

Micro Precision Calibration has been providing customers with a complete calibration service for over 30 years. All calibrations are traceable to NIST and comply with ISO 17025 international standards. We serve biomedical, pharmaceutical, fiber-optic, electronic, mechanical, and telecommunications industries through a worldwide network of laboratories and international field service teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily route for pickups and deliveries of customer equipment.
• Handle general office duties, including assisting customers with work order status.
• Perform data entry and general shipping/receiving tasks.
• Follow up with customer requests and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Utilize knowledge of FedEx, UPS Worldwide, and DHL for shipping tasks.

Requirements

• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Phone and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and follow-through on open work orders and customer follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Preferred: shipping/receiving experience.
