Shipping and Receiving Doc Worker
Daily Job Expectations
- Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
- Receiving and documenting product for delivery or return.
- Keeping an inventory of all product entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring that all the product is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Aiding in the training of newly employed workers.
- Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
Routine Job Expectations
- Demonstrate good teamwork skills in performing all job functions.
- Communicate openly with Department Managers, Team Managers, and Production Assistant.
- Support company policies and programs.
- Aid in the training of new employees.
- Perform other duties as designated by Team Manager.
- Follow all company and department procedures.
- Use all computer-based systems as required by job duties.
- Know the location and use of safety equipment.
- Work overtime as needed to cover the requirements of the shift.
- Audit VCS books for completion.
- Annually audit and review assigned procedures.
- Aid in ensuring that Routine Job Tasks are completed.
