Responsibilities
- Routinely demonstrate and create a helpful and positive work culture.
- Encourage and build positive relationships and communicate effectively with all co-workers, outside customers, and vendors.
- Act as main point of contact for daily inbound receivers as well as outbound pickups.
- Understand the logistical aspects of process to ensure product is off the dock, staged in the correct department and received into the system in an efficient manner.
- Collect all receiver’s paperwork from the bin and deliveries and add into the system by the end of every day.
- Check in all products delivered as well as frames made in the house shop including doors, frames, hardware, and crates.
- Audit all product that is received daily and manage discrepancies on a situational basis.
- Communicate with customers by sending tracking information for deliveries.
- Assist in loading and unloading vendor semis trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Assist in handling Will Call orders.
- Pull hardware, frames, lite kits, and glass for orders with a forklift or hands for customer orders.
- Ship out items via UPS, FedEx, Crates, and Empaxx.
- Communicate with customers and schedules deliveries through email and phone.
- Manage inventory through QuickBooks and receive payments.
- Work with other departments to coordinate material availability for delivery.
- Stock and restock materials using a forklift or hands.
- Process company purchase orders and allocate material correctly to each customer.
- Write up returns and ship out RMAs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
- Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds unassisted.
- Strong proven organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service.
