Shipping and Receiving Clerk (KCK CEHWC)

Maintained Duties

• Manage all shipping, receiving, and dock operations for KCK CEHWC Partners.
• Receive and process deliveries, distribute packages to Partners, handle incoming USPS mail, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail to all Partners.
• Maintain an organized dock area, track shipments, and support efficient internal distribution of materials.

Support Functions

• Provide administrative support for the Site Director, including maintaining the calendar, coordinating events, communications, reconciling credit card statements, creating KCKCC Monthly Reports, entering invoices and requisitions into Ellucian, and distributing purchase orders.
• Able to differentiate between KCK CEHWC and KCKCC invoices.
• Work closely with the KCK CEHWC Condominium Association Board and all Partners.
• Work closely with all KCK CEHWC vendors.
• Mobilize KCK CEHWC service providers for campus issues (e.g., security, trash removal, goose waste).
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Other Duties

• Distribute purchase orders upon creation to service providers.
• Enter all invoices and requisitions into Ellucian for approvals, working closely with KCKCC employees.
• Oversee shredding in the KCKCC space.
• Replenish batteries, office, and breakroom supplies for KCKCC staff and faculty.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 (six) months of logistics, retail, or customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clear motor vehicle record.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in shipping and receiving functions preferred.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and occasional pushing or lifting items up to 50 pounds.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Physical ability sufficient to lift 50 lbs. of material and carry several feet.
• Physical ability to work around the clock.
• Physical ability is sufficient to work in extreme temperature ranges.
• Hearing ability sufficient to notice alarms and mechanical malfunctions.
• Visual ability is sufficient to drive vehicles.

Schedule

7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Must be able to work a variable schedule/hour to meet operational needs. May require evening and weekend hours.
