Shipping and Receiving Clerk I

Principle Responsibilities

• Follows existing policies, practices, and procedures.
• Packages, crates, bundles, prepares product for shipment.
• Receives goods based on proper paperwork.
• Utilizes judgment in rejecting receipt of potentially damaged goods.
• Takes ownership when counting inventory for finished goods and sub-assemblies.
• Utilizes ERP as system of record.
• Administers issue/issue return of kits.
• Runs daily backlog report from ERP system.
• Coordinates and manages delivery driver and delivery schedule.
• Coordinates point of use staging.
• Procures all items as required.
• Maintains a clean work area - daily shift cleaning.
• May be required to be flexible with work schedule.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.

Credentials/Experience Qualification Requirements

• A high school diploma or general education degree.
• Two or more years of shipping or receiving experience.

• Knows and follows all safety requirements.
• Good verbal communication skills with internal staff.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be required to stand.
• The employee could frequently be required to walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• The employee could occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
