About the role

Pacific Defense develops advanced electronics systems for the U.S. Government, international, and commercial customers. Specializing in Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) solutions for C5ISR/Electronic Warfare missions, we deliver modular, rapidly reconfigurable systems in a fraction of the time of traditional contractors. Our expertise spans EW, SIGINT, Radar, and Communications, and Command and Control combined with a go-fast execution model leveraging Open Standards like SOSA, CMOSS, and MORA. With facilities across the country and a diverse team, we drive innovation in signal processing, algorithm development, cognitive systems, and systems integration.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips
  • Accurately document and label incoming and outgoing goods
  • Prepare and package outbound shipments in accordance with company standards and customer specifications
  • Cookpickups and deliveries with carriers and drivers
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required)
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area
  • Communicate with internal teams (purchasing, quality, production, customer service) to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials
  • Weekly Status Reports

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems or shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS, ERP systems)
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Familiarity with Sage X3 ERP is a plus
  • Experience with international shipments is a plus
  • Forklift certification is a plus

Schedule

This position requires work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical activity. Proper safety equipment and training will be provided.
